Fish soup with cream and salmon - a simple recipe for every day

 



A balanced diet is the key to good health, therefore, in addition to meat, be sure to cook fish. I'm sure everyone has a favorite fish dish, but what about fish soup?


There are two main options for preparing this dish. Most often, housewives prepare fish soup from fresh fish or canned fish soup. A dish of fresh fish, of course, brings more benefits to the body. Although, some people prefer canned fish soup. We offer a light salmon fish soup to prepare.


Salmon is one of the most tender fish. It is often used in haute cuisine, due to its taste qualities and rich color. Soup with this fish will definitely be enjoyed by the whole family.


For cooking you need:


salmon - 300 g;

grayling - 400 g;

potatoes - 5-6 pcs.;

salt and black pepper - to taste;

bay leaf - 2-3 pcs.;

black pepper peas - 5 pcs.;

carrot - 1 pc.;

onion - 2 pcs.;

favorite greens - to taste;

butter - 70 g;

cream - 400 ml;

water - 3 liters



Let's start cooking with fish broth. Wash the sea cucumber, peel one onion. Put all this in a saucepan, cover with water and cook over moderate heat. Add salt and spices. During boiling, get rid of the foam.


Cut the second onion and carrot into cubes. Cut the potato into strips. Heat 50 g of butter in a pan, start frying the potatoes. When it turns brown, add onions and carrots.


Cut the salmon fillet into small portions, salt and leave for a while.


Strain the finished broth from excess foam and fish remains, pour into a clean saucepan, put all the vegetables there and cook until boiling. Add the salmon fillet to the boiling soup, let it cook for 4-5 minutes. After that, season the soup with spices.


Leave the soup on low heat for 2 minutes, then add cream and 20 g of butter, stir and remove from heat.


Serve with herbs and a fresh baguette. Let it taste!
