Borscht without meat is a lean recipe

 


For cooking you will need:


potatoes - 3 pieces;

carrot - 1 piece;

onion - 1 piece;

eggs - 4 pieces;

sorrel - 1 piece;

Bay leaf.


Pour 1.5 liters of water into the pan, put it on the fire. Then pour the chopped potatoes into the container, and chop the carrots and onions ourselves. Finely chop the sorrel on a board.


Add chopped carrots and onions to the potatoes, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for about 15-20 minutes. After that, put sorrel and spices to taste in the borscht. Cook for another 10 minutes, turn off and cover with a lid.
